The walls seemed to be 'sound proof'. Our floor was fully occupied but I could hardly hear anything, not even the toilet flush. There were 2 pillows per bed. The windows could be opened slightly for ventilation. We've flown in from Canada and had giant bags. We need to access lift from the subway to the hotel. Most of reviews commented that they were advised to take Exit 6 to the hotel, and that particular exit are all stairs to the ground level on the main street. Hence, I did a bit of a virtual tour of the hotel prior to departure and found a lift at CRYSTA NAGAHORI that brings you up to the ground level in the vicinity of Best Western Fino. I have emailed the hotel to confirm, if the lift does connect from Crysta Nagahori to the street's ground level. Khaing was nice to check for me to confirm. She took the extra effort to email the Subway Station Master for the direction and confirmation. (Many thanks, Khaing). Extra shout out to Abdel at reception, what a lovely natured and professional, helpful young man. I eventually met Ms Khaing on my third day at the hotel, she seemed to know that I was looking out for her. She immediately exited the Reception counter area to greet me. Truly a warm gesture indeed. Crysta Nagahori is an underground shopping arcade, is directly connected to Shinsaibashi Station on the Yotsubashi, Midosuji, and Nagahori Tsurumi-ryokuchi Lines. Whichever train that you're coming in from, make your way to Crysta Nagahori. Look for SOUTH EXIT 3. Take the lift up to level 1 (B1 is the subway, B2-B4 is the parking complex). When you've reached Level 1, exit the lift and there will be a Best Western Fino sign right infront of you (look slightly up), Hotel Morning Box will be on your right. Turn right into the small road of that sign, turn left on the 2nd turning, the Best Western Fino Hotel will be on your right.

LOCATION: Great, 5min walk to Shinsaibashi Shopping street, 10min walk to Dotonbori, 15min walk to Kuromon Market. Nagahoribashi 1-2min walk and Shinsaibashi station 5min walk for transit. LOTS of restaurants nearby. Plenty of convenience stores nearby for breakfast: 7/11 right outside front door, Lawson around the corner, and Family Mart across the main road. Check out the underground mall under the main road leading to Shinsaibashi station for more food/stores, (look for signs that say Crysta). No noise at night. ROOM: Adjoining rooms, 2 twins each for a total of 4 twin beds. Standard smaller size than most western chains, but suitcases fit under the beds, so there is no issue. Clean bathroom. Ample bedside space for phones/charging. Pajama robes slightly thinner material but still good. Air conditioning good, use google translate on the AC interface to figure it out if you need to. OTHER: Vending machines, laundry, and microwave downstairs. Umbrellas that you can borrow for the day. Currency exchange booth inside hotel lobby. PC + Printer in lobby if you need to print Shinkansen tickets.

The bed was firm and comfortable, and the toilet was clean and cosy. We got a nice room that was quiet and had a bathtub for our honeymoon, which we loved. There were umbrellas for rent that were big and nice on rainy days. The coin laundry and dryer were affordable and a pleasant surprise to use, as well as the free ice dispenser with perfect ice cubes. Toiletries were sufficient and of good quality, and there was also an ATM machine to exchange notes, and a 24 hour 7-11 opposite the hotel which was very convenient.

The location was fantastic, less than 5 mins away from Nagahoribashi Station, easy access to Shinsaibashi and Dotonburi, Crysta, and all the shopping around. Plenty of food choices around the area. 7-11 and MOS burger just infront of the hotel. Dominos around the corner. Even 298 Nikuya is just a few minutes walk away. Having a washer and dryer really helped so we do not have to travel elsewhere to get our laundry done. Staff was friendly and helpful. Housekeeping was great too and the rooms were cleaned everyday.

Location is close to Shinsaibashi street and was walkable to Dotonbori/Kuromon Market. Could reach other tourist spots within 1-3 metro stops. Staff was responsive and helped receive our luggage’s from Yamato Transport (we were coming from Tokyo via Shinkansen and didn’t want to lug around our bags) We were also able to store our bags with the front desk when we arrived early/checked out early. Provided with individually packed toiletries like q-tips, comb, face towel, hair tie, razor, and skincare.
